I don’t see that happening. I have seen things get tense before and that didn’t happen and I don’t believe it will happen now. I hope I’m right. I’m concerned what will happen when Iran strikes back.
I’m holding out hope too but you know that the Trump Administration is already considering Iran striking back. At least I hope they are considering it.
That’s a legit point, Deb. It’s interesting that he torn up the deal with Iran and now, because there’s the potential of Iran having nukes, he wants a deal.
Iran is a nation that has proven to support terrorism and has embarked on a campaign of “death to Americans.” We should not trust their ability to act responsibly if they had nukes.
One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter! I hear there are cultures that say “death” to this or that as an expression of disdain! Death to the taxi driver for not stopping, or death to America for always accusing us of shit and bombing U.S. when they feel like it, on a hunch! I went to Iraq under false pretense, I’m not buying it!
He is a megalomaniac narcissist. When does the GOP grow a spine? He is inciting war and will get us killed! There are terrorists here. He is one of them. Of course Iran will attack. JFC
Sleeper cells here? Could they be among the millions of illegal immigrants that flooded over the border during the last four years, or maybe America hating foreigners here on student and work visas? So how do we defend ourselves? With ICE removing the threats or with mayors and governors harboring them in sanctuary cities, and states? Quick, choose. Because you can’t have it both ways. The world is a dangerous place with bad people that only understand one thing. Trump just made things clear.
For the naysayers out there, this is what Peace through Strength looks like. After 4 years of feckless leadership, the world now realizes that the FAFO doctrine is in effect. And when Iran strikes back the next target will be their oil refineries. Notice, no other countries are backing Iran today. China has taken notice. Do you think Taiwan is more or less secure after this action?
That’s a bold theory and I hope you’re right, but you’re foolish to declare victory right now. I can be impressed with the U.S. precision attacks but I can also realize that Iran can still strike back. Don’t act like Bush on the deck of the aircraft carrier declaring “Mission Accomplished “ when a lot of shit went down right after that.
Please point out where I have stated or even implied victory or mission accomplished in my post. You can’t because it’s not there. Don’t stereotype me because of my opinion. You do that all the time on the radio. It’s lazy journalism.
Hi Scoot. I thoroughly agree with you, and particularly after listening to Adam Kinzinger’s analysis of the military situation.
This is not to say that I love Donald Trump. I most certainly don’t. I can only hope that he had wisdom advising him in the situation room.
Yes, he is a case of “arrested development,” as I always say. The simpler words and phrases (although hyperbolic) and motivations demonstrate that. Still. Some strong action needed to take place.
That said, Iran has threatened us for years. Decades. And they can take hostages or drop dirty bombs. They may do both. Trump in that case is no Obama or Biden or even Carter, or dare I say a W. He doesn’t really care about people. He’s incapable of it. It will be his competitive nature and aversion to “losing” that will drive his next response. Yes, that can mean pain for Americans. There are many potential outcomes, but the military understands this. I think it should be clarified that we are not in a “war.” Not yet.
I’ve become a fan of your commentary. It’s clear and intelligent. Thank you!
Hey, Nicholas, I really appreciate your comment. You’re exactly right. The lack of faith many of us have for Trump’s own assessment of the situation is not our fault. It’s his fault for creating his image of deceiving. But you’re so right about questioning what is next. I hope I’m wrong but I fear Ian will retaliate. Thanks again for you comment, Niccholas!
If you were as smart as Trump, you would be president but that is not the case. Just another Trump hater who sits behind a computer trying to impress people with an education you don't have . Go back to sleep old man...
Jim - your insults don’t bother me. YOU are a typical example of the extreme right who suffers from TDS and has to defend your leader. I didn’t say anything negative. I only brought up what many are bringing up about what may happen next. In fact I said positive things but you don’t know how to recognize those positive things because you are too busy being weak and playing the victim card.
I may not be president and neither are you and I’m in the media and you’re not. So take your own advice and don’t judge me and what I do.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I honestly thought you gave trump far too much credit in that piece. Do you understand the reasoning behind the insipid name calling? I do see more aggression from the far right, but why does anyone think that is the way to go? I genuinely do not understand it.
Trump, does not need to have the codes to a nuke. No I do not support Trump.
Our collective concerns about Trump are because of the image Trump has created for himself.
Thanks for commenting!
Do we call it a self created 'image', or his every action? Are they entwined? I would argue our concerns are based on his actions, all of his actions.
I agree with that - I’m not sure what I said that made you not think I support that?
Oh, nothing. I was just seeing if your thoughts process was along that line. Thanks for the clarification, for me.
Welcome to world war 3
I don’t see that happening. I have seen things get tense before and that didn’t happen and I don’t believe it will happen now. I hope I’m right. I’m concerned what will happen when Iran strikes back.
I appreciate your comment, Artie!
So not speak it into being, please. I am holding out hope.
I’m holding out hope too but you know that the Trump Administration is already considering Iran striking back. At least I hope they are considering it.
Gee if trump hadn’t torn up the well negotiated deal we already had with Iran 🙄🫤😡
That’s a legit point, Deb. It’s interesting that he torn up the deal with Iran and now, because there’s the potential of Iran having nukes, he wants a deal.
Absolutely
False premise! Why can’t we trust Iran with a nuke? We trust Isreal! Hell, we trust Trump!
Well, not everyone trusts Trump with nukes!
Iran is a nation that has proven to support terrorism and has embarked on a campaign of “death to Americans.” We should not trust their ability to act responsibly if they had nukes.

Absolutely. Nir, do I think, can we trust this Administration with the nukes we have.
I appreciate your comment, Courtney!
I trust none of them.
He is a megalomaniac narcissist. When does the GOP grow a spine? He is inciting war and will get us killed! There are terrorists here. He is one of them. Of course Iran will attack. JFC
Sleeper cells all over that will activate, thanks to this stupid orange sloppy fuck
Yea I’m concerned about that - but I hope I’m wrongZ
Yep me too, Scoot.
Exactly. All because of a tiny penis.
Micro P…

Well well, an angry magat here? Let me guess, you sat your ass in church today before you decided to troll and spew your stupidity? Nice…🤡
Nice job! Thanks for commenting!
Yep, life is always black and yt. I know you are yt on more than one level. Praise his name, right?

OMG do we have to dissect every frickin thing until it suits your beliefs?
Words have meaning. I am sorry you lack that understanding.
Oh I understand someone who is obsessed needing to psycho analyze everything.

Yeah, a great many of us saw this from a mile away and did not vote for him. Now what?
